I haven't painted very much in oils so I don't have an educated opinion. I like the acrylic course so much that I'm sure I'll enjoy the oil painting course.
Crawshaw combines insights and suggestions on technique along with a discussion of the decision making that goes into his painting, plus what he likes or not about the finished product. A good book for a beginning oil painter as well as for someone who is looking for some new inspiration for their painting.
Love this art book, great ideas, in a simple presentation.

This is a great book for artists of all levels, Crawshaws style of painting and writing is very enlighening and entertaining, a book for every artists library no matter what style you paint in.
